Internships 

An internship with The Willow will give you invaluable career experience in the victim services field. You will have the opportunity to work directly with survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking using the empowerment model of advocacy at a progressive and innovative victim services agency.

Internships are available in Douglas, Jefferson, and Franklin Counties. All internships are unpaid - we encourage students to seek class credit.

INTERNSHIP POSITIONS
  • BSW Practicum Student (fall-spring)

  • Human Trafficking Intern (fall-spring, fall, spring, or summer)

  • Children's Program Intern (summer)

  • Marketing/Community Engagement Intern (fall-spring, fall, spring, or summer)

  • Franklin County Intern (fall-spring, fall, spring, or summer)

INTERNSHIP TRAINING

Training consists of 2 days (12 hours) of classroom training, which is provided 4 times per year, and additional on-the-job training.
