Run, Walk, Stroll or Roll for the Willow
Virtual 5K Run – October 2019
Your 2019 sponsorship not only supports the Stronger Today 5K Domestic Violence Awareness race, but also the #ArtHeals program of events taking place October 25 & 26 at the Lawrence Arts Center.
The Willow Domestic Violence Center will be hosting a “virtual 5K” event during the entire month of October (domestic violence awareness month). Participants (individuals or teams) will sign up online and pledge to run, walk, stroll, or roll 3.1 miles (5K) at least once during the month.
Throughout the month of October photos of participants (including local personalities) will be posted on The Willow’s Facebook page wearing their race day T-shirts. In addition, all participants will be able to post their own social media messaging as a part of their registration process. The Willow Board of Directors have already reached out to our contacts to build interest and secure commitments of support for this event with the intent of it “going viral” throughout the community.
In addition, on October 25 & 26, the Willow will be hosting #ArtHeals, a series of workshops and events celebrating the power of art to heal and raising awareness of the cost of domestic violence in our community. We are looking for Business Sponsorship! Please help us make this creative, fun event a success through one of the sponsorship levels listed below.
