THE POWER OF CREATIVE EXPRESSION
Survivor Art
Our Art Program Coordinator works with survivors to create works unique to them, using art as an authentic expression of their experiences. . The mission of The Willow art program is to provide opportunities to survivors for them to express their voice, and start on a path towards healing and recovery free from abuse, violence and control.
SPOKEN LIKE A TRUE HERO
In their own words
Empowering Voices, our Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2018 art show, featured a number of survivor stories. Some have been gathered over the course of our years, and some were new. All stories have been used with the survivor's permission, and actors have been used to record the stories, for confidentiality. If you are interested in sharing your story, we would love to hear from you.
