Rural Program Advocate-Douglas & Franklin Counties
FULLTIME

Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

A Willow Domestic Violence Center full-time position focused on delivering direct service to survivors of Domestic Violence in rural Douglas County (Baldwin, Eudora, Lecompton, & and other Douglas County areas outside of Lawrence city limits) and Franklin County (Ottawa, Pomona, Wellsville, Williamsburg, Princeton, Rantoul, Richmond, Lane, and Centropolis), including program participants of the Department of Children & Families (DCF) and other partner agencies, maintaining relationships with partner agencies, and encouraging collaboration with community members and employers to provide information about DV, the effects of DV on children and adults, causes of DV, and other information required by the DV grant.

A Willow Domestic Violence Center position focused on delivering domestic violence and human trafficking information and direct service to survivors, providing educational opportunities and services to children and families residing in the shelter and the community at large, and maintaining accurate and consistent records within the agency database. All services will be delivered in a positive cultural environment focused on survivor empowerment, staff collaboration, and communication.

A Willow Domestic Violence Center position focused on providing empowerment-based services and excellent collaborations. Our team works closely with volunteers, interns, and management staff to create a positive culture and strong community presence.
The Health and Wellness Coordinator provides direct support to survivors in shelter, driven by a passion for supporting community and health. This advocate will also work with community partners to create innovate goals and effective strategies by which survivors can achieve their health and wellness goals.

A Willow Domestic Violence Center position focused on empowering underserved populations and survivor access by bringing awareness to dating and relationship violence and recognizing unique issues within the population. The Survivor Access Advocate will be based full-time in shelter to provide both direct services and access activities to identify and collaborate with partner agencies that specifically work these populations to provide services including peer counseling, safety planning and resources and assist in providing training for all staff and volunteers, and will assist in the development of internal resources, policies, and procedures for the organization as they pertain to underserved populations.
