Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer opportunities are available as needed. Volunteers can either be in direct service, working with survivors at shelter, or indirect service, helping The Willow in other ways. Please check back regularly for volunteer opportunities.
Court Advocacy Volunteer
Volunteer court advocates assist survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking with filing protection orders (PFAs/PFSs), by attending court with them for support, and by giving referrals. Advocates always respect that the survivor is the expert in their own life, and therefore the best person to make decisions. Advocates offer peer counseling and safety planning but do not give legal advice.
Time Commitment: Minimum 1 year of volunteering. One 3-4 hour shift per week.
